After working directly with over 1500 community institutions over the last 5 years it has become evident that the market is not adequately supporting this segment's basic cybersecurity needs. Smaller financial firms face significant cybersecurity challenges due to limited resources and expertise. Existing offerings in the market often fail to cater to their specific needs, leaving them vulnerable to cyber threats. FinCyberNet addresses these challenges by offering a tailored solution that focuses on the unique requirements of community-based financial institutions (CBFIs). This initiative is sponsored by CMBR a 501c3 nonprofit and registered ISAO dedicated to finding ways to address the lack of focused support for this vital segment of the financial system.
Help us create a vibrant community that encourages knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mutual support to elevate cybersecurity practices industry-wide. Our goal is not to replace any existing trade and industry groups, nor to provide just another 'tool', but rather to help CBFIs implement a holistic, capability maturity management based approach to cyber hygiene and security. To learn more about joining FinCyberNet to enhance your cybersecurity posture, gain industry insights, and collaborate with like-minded financial institutions contact us today. Together, we can build a secure and resilient financial sector.
Our governance model ensures community-based financial institutions (CBFIs) have a voice and influence in FinCyberNet and drive the planning, content, and delivery of its offerings Only CBFIs can be Subscribers and Chair our Councils and Committees, and only they can participate on a platform built to help enhance the development of their cybersecurity capabilities and maturity via access to: peer based threat and awareness alerts, cyber risk assessment tools, domain and role specific collaboration channels, and education based webinars.
